Fuel Up With Milk!

Captain’s Log.  Diaper Date 1980.  Daddy Chronicles.

Mornings are not easy in any household – The Captain’s is no different.  It is difficult to wake up, get the kids ready, and get everyone out of the door!  Not to mention finding time for a healthy breakfast.  We have all heard the saying, “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.”  Well, if that is true then we need to make sure that we make the most out of it.

So what is a good way to tackle your day?  Start it with milk.  Most people know that an 8 oz. glass of milk contains nine essential nutrients, including eight grams of protein! This protein can help you feel full enough to not be hungry again mid-morning!

Some people don’t realize the added benefit of milk that isn’t found in the glass… Milk’s Fuel Up To Play 60 and Breakfast Blitz programs.
The “got milk?” Campaign and Fuel Up to Play 60 Breakfast Blitz program is helping to provide $250,000 in grants to local schools across the country to help give kids greater access to a healthy breakfast. Now through Feb. 17, when you buy milk you can vote to have a portion go to a local school.
What is awesome about the Fuel Up to Play 60program is that it is an in-school program that is designed to educate students on how to stay active and eat a healthy diet.
So start your day with a milk mustache. Not only will it help you tackle your day, but you will also have the opportunity to help a local school tackle their mornings as well!
